Isaac typed the above with no help from me.

A few minutes ago, out of the blue, he said something to me that sounded a lot like "I like boys." I think it was actually "I like boards," but that doesn't make any sense either, so I don't really know. He did get very upset when I repeated "I like boys" back to him, so I don't think that's really what he meant. It's not that I'm heavily invested in my child being gay, you understand! I just want him to be happy! And if boys, er, boards, are what it takes, then I'm all for it. I guess. ???

I love the interesting word usages that kids structure. For one of my sisters, dogs weren't just dogs at first. They were all "dog-dogs." Both my sisters still call breakfast, "brekdist." So do I when I'm not paying attention, but strangely enough, I picked that one up from them rather than the other way around. "Suspenders" was my hardest word to say as a child. I still don't like it very much. ;)

Anyway, give Isaac love for us!
