So, we had a weekend. Uh...it's kind of a blur now. ;) I guess it had its ups and downs.
Saturday, I was cranky pretty much all day so it was just as well to skip the Hot Foods party. We did make a brief excursion to Target with my mom, after she had taken Ruthie away for a few hours which was VERY sorely needed. ( a bit of griping about Ruthie's issues ) Meanwhile Isaac has come down with this cold as well, although it seems to be fairly mild for him, knock wood.
Sinus-wise, things are still "interesting" in my head. All day, and especially when I lie down, I can feel stuff moving around in there. It's quite unpleasant and makes for not-so-restful naptime experiences. I really feel that one should not be able to hear one's sinuses.
In other news, I filled in a bit more of the info on my online tax return and it bumped my refund up to about $2330 (federal) and about $85 state. I think the state will increase a bit more when I get to the part where you say how much you spent on heating oil. So, that's pretty exciting; that'll be a nice chunk of change. I'm still waiting on the official statement from our old daycare before I can file. I just put in estimated numbers based on going through my online banking and adding up all the checks that I wrote to them.
In other financial news, due tooveruse of my Amazon credit card, I've earned enough points for a $25 Amazon gift certificate. I am trying to convince myself that I can spend it on frivolous stuff for me (e.g. the latest Lois Bujold novel) and not have to feel guilty about it. So far no luck with that. Jewish Guilt 1, Sense of Entitlement 0.
