more on "seep" or lack thereof

Two days in a row (Sat and Sun), Isaac's naps were a) later and b) longer than usual. And two nights in a row, it was very difficult getting him to bed at night, and he didn't end up going to sleep until 10:45. Coincidence? How dumb do you think I am?

Wish me luck getting him back onto his regular schedule starting tonight. This is probably my punishment for having posted (elsewhere, not here) how happy I was that he was finally consistently going down easily and sleeping through the night. Sigh, jinxed myself again. ah well.

Nine days till my birthday. Should I be ultra-unsubtle and link to my Amazon wishlist? ;)

Went to Amazon to look for some books that we've had from the library for weeks because Isaac loves them so. Couldn't quite remember the titles except that they had "truck" in them. I think one of them was actually titled simply Trucks.

DAMN, do you get a lot of results when you just put "truck" into the search field! LOL.

My mom says Isaac is way more obsessed with all things vehicular than either I or my brother was at this age. Isaac knows the names of numerous different vehicles, can differentiate a helicopter from an airplane and a tow truck from a flatbed. And his latest word is "ambulance" -- he has a really funny way of saying it, which I can't really describe in words.

I'm not totally tuned back in to my cycles yet, but uh, it's not actually all that hard to tell when ovulation is coming on. When I find myself with the urge to write sexually explicit fanfic, which I haven't done (or wanted to do really) for almost two years? When I wake up horny in the morning for no apparent reason? When I'm driving home at night and find myself mentally composing random femslash (between two women I know, no less)? Uh, yeah, that would be ovulation headin' my way.

I don't think I've been this horny in quite a while. I may actually have to write some pr0n.

Then to make things worse, I put on Moxy Fruvous in the car on the way home, and "No No Raja" pops up. Man, that song always makes me horny even when it's NOT the right time of month! *fans self*

Actually, almost all Fruvous songs make me horny, ever since I had that dream where I was having sex with Jian on a lawn during a lollapalooza-type music festival. Damn, that boy is hot.

Whew. I think I better go get Isaac to bed. ;)
