another saturday
Feb. 12th, 2005 11:59 amI hate how much whining I've been doing here lately, but dammit, being sick sucks.
This morning I felt worse, not better, and was really upset about that. I felt a little better after having my caffeine and bagel (albeit Isaac ate 1/4 of my bagel, that stinker LOL) but still have that head-about-to-explode feeling, and I keep sneezing outrageously. I was just counting the minutes until it was late enough to call my mom. ;) Isaac took a brief (like, 15-minute) nap on my chest, but got fussy when I tried putting him in his crib, and since it was 10:30am, much too early for nap, I didn't push. So I got us dressed and took him to grandma's.
Much excitement on the way! For the second Saturday in a row there were fire trucks zooming down our street with sirens wailing (Isaac: "Fire truck! Zie-wee[siren]!"), then they hung around in the street for a few minutes and drove off. ("Bye-bye fire truck!") Then when we got to grandma's place, there was a HUGE crane in the main street like half a block from her house. We just gave grandma enough time to throw on her coat, and I left them standing on the sidewalk goggling at the thing. LOL.
Then I came home, and now I do believe I'll be going back to bed.
anotherjen, if you see this, email me and let me know if you still want to go to Hot Foods....
