In other news, the results of my naming poll were interesting. Almost everyone felt that birth order doesn't matter; naming my child Jonah would be weird or not-weird regardless of whether he were first or second. And five votes for "Jonah is a terrible name" -- wow, what do you people have against it anyway?

things a person shouldn't do

A person who spent the better part of the previous night feelin' barfy probably should not eat spicy Chinese leftovers for dinner. And yet, one guess what I had for dinner. Yes, I am dumb. Anyway, so far no repercussions *knock wood* but time will tell.

Electronics conspired against me at work today. My computer was doing something weird with Adobe Acrobat, and my phone, it turns out, "forgot" all my speed-dial settings in the move to the new office. This is annoying, esp. since it took me quite a while to figure out how to program the speed-dial last time. Grump.

In pleasanter news, my mom came over tonight for an hour and helped entertain Isaac, which I really wasn't feeling up to after the day of sickness and irritation. Plus she washed all my dishes, which was really above and beyond the call. I had some really gross stuff that had been "soaking" for ages. *blush*

I think I'm going to take a Sudafed and go to bed. I have a serious sinus headache and my nose is a faucet.
