showing my body the love
Jun. 11th, 2002 02:03 pmBecause I'm feeling a little silly and needing an ego-stroke. And because you just don't see women saying stuff like this often enough.
( Ode to My Thighs )
( Ode to My Thighs )
something completely different
Jun. 11th, 2002 04:49 pmAnd now, an update on the gym situation. Hey, I bet you didn't even know there WAS a gym situation. :)
( This might be boring, so... )

functional!
Jun. 11th, 2002 10:19 pmThanks to the beauteous and infinitely wise Lady Lauriel, my computer works again!! Yay!!!
It was as simple as deleting the IDE Controller out of Device Manager and insisting that Windows re-attempt to recognize it. And then telling it repeatedly not to worry about its inability to find a catalog file. Yeesh. Stupid Windows.
My files! My beautiful files! My Eudora! My beautiful Eudora! My games! ...etc. :)
In less happy news, I bailed on the gym. Now I feel all guilty. (whine) But it's so faaar away! (/whine)
I tried cooking today too, from scratch without a recipe. Never a good idea for me. It was edible, just ... bland and lame. Ah well.
Glad I didn't take A. up on his last-minute offer of a ticket to tonight's Red Sox game. The temperature fell dramatically between when I went for lunch (85F) and when I left work at end of the day (65F). And the game went through two separate rain delays. Not a fun night to be at Fenway. Alas.
But! Did I mention? My computer works again! Yay! :)
