• 16:51 Met 2 other Isaacs at kindergarten brunch. LOL. Thought I had picked a name to avoid that! (neither will be in his class though) #
• 18:09 Elefun: dumbest game ever. Hate it! #

Aww, Elefun was ours - Ilana got it as a b-day present a while back - and we enjoyed it. What don't you like about it?

Well, the kids love it. I just find it excruciating to constantly have to refill/re-set-up the dang thing. It certainly could be worse though. ;)

Oh, that's a relief. I thought you meant that it was no fun to play with. See if you can teach Isaac how to refill it and set it up himself! Maybe he'd think that was fun too.

LOL, the funny thing is, after the third or fourth time when I asked him to help me gather up the butterflies to reload, he said totally unprompted "This is boring!" ;) I think it's just the slightest bit over his age level. And Ruthie is just interested in waving the net around. Maybe by next year she'll think it's awesome and he'll be able (and willing) to do the reloading for her. ;) I can dream, right?

I just wish there were some way to redesign it with a little trap-door in the side, so you could be constantly reloading the butterflies without taking the whole thing apart. But probably there's some good reason why that wouldn't work.

Maybe you could set a timer so it's a challenge to gather up all the butterflies before you run out of time. That might make it fun.

Be even cooler if there were an air intake hose that you could stuff the butterflies in, from a few feet away. Infinite butterflies coming out of elephant trunk! ... that is a pretty surreal image if you think about it.
