Ruthie pulled down her pants for no apparent reason.
Me: Ruthie, what are you doing?
Ruthie: Pull down pants!
Me: Why are you pulling down your pants?
Ruthie: Ock!
Me: Socks?
Ruthie: No need ock!
Me: Yes, you do need socks, they are keeping your feet warm.
Ruthie: Oh! (Pulls up pants)
Me: That's better.
Ruthie: Pull down pants! (Pulls down pants and waddles around with pants around her ankles)

Tonight at bedtime I kissed Isaac goodnight before turning the light off, whereas usually I do the reverse. This confused him...
Isaac: Wait mama, you forgot to kiss me.
Me: No, I did kiss you, before I turned the light off. But I'll kiss you again. (kisses) Goodnight!
Isaac: Night-night. I like you.
Me: Huh??
Isaac: Oh, wait, I mean, I love you.
Me: (lol) I love you too. Night-night Isaac, night-night Ruthie.
Isaac: Night-night mama, night-night Ruthie.
Ruthie: Night-night Oothie!

LOL, I really should get a job in a daycare or something. I find the things that kids say so amusing.

A couple weeks ago my cousin was here, jumping on my bed and she stopped, looked panicked and went "OHMIGAWD", so my mom and I went ":o what?" and she said, "My heart is coming out of my ears!!!!" LMAO!

After a minute she explained that she could hear her heart beating through her ears but the way she expressed it at first was hilarious.

Possibly when Ruthie said, "No need ock!" she meant that she didn't need socks, because she could pull her pants down to cover her feet and keep them warm instead. And then when you insisted she does need socks, she demonstrated it for you.
