serendipity
Dec. 5th, 2007 03:13 pmI checked with the admin assistant at work to find out how many vacation days I have and whether I needed to use any before the end of the year (you can only roll over 5 days). After some discussion we decided that I had 4.5 days left.
Then I sat down to work out how many days I'll have to take off in those last couple weeks of the year to accommodate Isaac's preschool closures. (That's assuming that I chose not to drive myself nuts trying to find some other childcare option.) It worked out to ... 4.5 days! Hee.
Actually, I could work on Wednesday the 26th, if I wanted to, since that's Isaac's day with his grandma. But I figure that having one day to myself in the middle of the two-week "off" span will be a very nice thing. Of course, that's also assuming that Ruthie's daycare will be open that day -- finding out which days they are closed is next on my agenda.
