Hmm, I thought my previous post would have generated more comment. Probably I erred in giving it an lj-cut with text that kind of implied it was all going to be whining about my digestive woes. I should have titled it something like "musings on food, eating, changing eating habits, and how being a grownup turns out not to suck so much after all." ;)

Thanks to evil_macaroni for the hilarious link to a JC Penney catalog from 1977. OMG. I defy you to read this and not LOL.

And thanks to piney61 (even though she said not to thank her) for links to two recent talk-show appearances by Red Sox players: Manny Ramirez on Leno (with bonus Steve Carell action) and Big Papi on Conan which, again, literally made me LOL. OMG. Papi is teh never-ending awesome.
