busy, lazy, lazy, busy

mamajoanLazy weekend so far. Very busy day on Friday! Is it weird that I get a whole lot more done when I take a day off than when I go in to work?
Friday, ran all over the greater Boston area. Doctor's appt., car maintenance, post office, errands, almost got a speeding ticket (eek!). In the evening, attended a protest rally to protest the Massachusetts Bar Association awarding "Legislator of the Year" to a homophobic jerk who also voted against Clean Elections. Holding signs, marching, chanting. With my mom. Afterward, went for really good Thai food with mom.
Saturday, did absolutely nothing. Stayed in all day, watched TiVo. It rules.
And today, slept till noon-thirty. Now up. Gotta run off in a few minutes though. Places to go, people to meet, kitties to snuggle whether they like it or not. Whee!
