too tired, too busy -- here, have some bullet points.

* Friday: Red Sox game blew chunks. kids did great w/babysitter.

* Sat: Corn & Tomato Festival, enormous fun had; bushels of corn eaten; baby goat petted; all crashed for v. late naps.

* Sun: trip to Target; succeeded in acquiring lunchbox for Ruthie; later changed mind, hate lunchbox. Baked banana muffins in new oven.

* Ruthie still doing great at new daycare. Acquired obligatory new-school illness (congestion/runny nose/cough) after only three days of daycare. Passed same on to me. Argh.

* Happy birthdays to victoriacatlady, xochiquetzl, and frightened in that order.

I was hoping I could say the kids got goated, but actually from the pictures I think the goats got Ruthied. ;-)
