Poor Bini is quite unhappy about the heat, but he's also too dumb to realize that a) it's cooler in front of the fan, and b) snuggling with a human is not the best idea when you're uncomfortably hot. He keeps wanting to cuddle and I'm all, "ew, get away!" When I pet him, clouds of fur float off into the air. Poor kitty.

Our dog must be reminded to stay in the basement, because he cannot stay outside comfortably. Yet he is miffed at being excluded. (The pool is not for doggies.) And he too sheds, and sheds, and sheds.

BTW, is that a copy of The Female Man I spy under a CD?

:) Yep, it is The Female Man. I have to confess I haven't managed to get all the way through it -- it reads too much like the author was trippin' when she wrote it, which gives me a headache. I like my narratives to be coherent, so sue me. *shrug*
