curses, foiled again

mamajoanThe thunderstorms that yesterday I complained about not appearing as promised? Arrived with a vengeance last night. And complicated my entire evening, too. First they made the drive home, uh, interesting. (In the good way though. I drove the whole way with the radio off so I could hear the thunder. The rain was amazing.) Then they caused a power outage at my gym, so that it was closed by the time I got there, so I had to go on home rather than working out. :P And then of course the rain caused the Sox game to be canceled.
On the bright side, all that cancelation meant an opportunity for me to get more cleaning done around the apartment. I didn't get as much done as I had ambitiously thought I might (story of my life) but I did get some done. I even vacuumed, which really with the amount Bini sheds I should be doing, like, daily. Or hourly. But naaah.
