Jun. 27th, 2002 11:51 amThe weirdest thing about taking a sick day in the middle of the week, especially when you're not *too* sick and actually spend the whole day conscious, is that the rest of the week you can't figure out what day it is. Like, I took Tuesday off sick, and on Wednesday I kept thinking it was Monday, and today I just don't know where the hell I am. But hey, that's cool. At least it means the weekend is closer than I think.
There's really just not a lot to report at the moment in my life. I still haven't been eating enough because a little nausea is lingering, and then the lack of eating makes me more nauseous, so it's a vicious cycle. I bought an assortment of plain dry crackers, because every time I get ill I'm looking through the cabinets going "why the fuck don't I have any plain dry crackers?" So I should nibble on them throughout the day and hopefully get my stomach to stop complaining that it's a) empty b) queasy c) all of the above.

It's nice to know that I still have some limits. There is some stuff that I just won't share with y'all. TMI *does* exist even in my lexicon.
In other news, it's been really hot the last couple of days. Yesterday, coming back to work after the sick-day, I walked to the supermarket for lunch with a couple of coworkers and it nearly killed me. Normally I'd have been fine, I *love* hot humid weather, but I was weakened from having been ill so it was just awful.
They keep saying there will be thunderstorms and there keep not being thunderstorms. :P
I haven't even had a chance to go to the gym since my first time, which was a week ago today. I'm going tonight, and it should be nice, especially with the pool to help cool down. I hope my body is up for it. Another reason to get back into this eating thing.
