Okay, boston.com / the Boston Globe is back in my good graces, for today's excellent article on extended breastfeeding. Kudos to the moms featured in the article as well.

We did go to the Moms of Twins sale today and it was pretty awesome. I spent $50 (yikes) and got 22 pieces of clothing for Ruthie, 10 for Isaac, also a Thomas backpack and a puzzle for Isaac, and some baby forks for Ruthie. All that for only $50! Woohoo. And I didn't even have to beat up [livejournal.com profile] pekmez for any choice items! ;) (her daughter and Ruthie are in the same size despite a 6-month age difference, heh) Isaac was amazingly tolerant of the extreme boredom and crowds, and Ruthie enormously enjoyed climbing on the piles of clothing. :)

Of course, by the time we got home we were totally beat. So we had a quick lunch and a nice long nap. (At least, Ruthie and I napped. I'm not sure about Isaac. But he at least lay in his bed and was quiet.) Then we went to grandma's house for a while, sorted through some more of Isaac's old clothing, played, ate, etc., came home, put kids to bed. Whew. It was a day.

I'm not sure how we'll fit in everything I want to do tomorrow, but hopefully we'll at least manage to a) acquire more diapers for both kids (that's a must) and b) acquire a few groceries for the week and c) launder some of the new stuff from the sale and d) acquire bagels since our bagel store will be closed for Passover starting Monday. Uh. And there's probably more besides. Maybe I better get to bed. ;)
