Just got a line on another daycare provider who has an opening. (Did I even post about the one that we visited on Friday??) Have an appt to visit her tomorrow morning. Feel hopeful about this as she was recommended by someone who I know shares most of my parenting philosophy/style. Also she lives literally about a two-minute walk from my mom's house. So that could be teh awesome. We shall see.

Today's breastmilk yield: a bit over 10 ounces. O.o That starts to seem a lot less impressive, however, when you learn that on Friday Ruthie drank the entire six ounces that I had left with the nanny for her ... in one sitting. Yow! O.O

I don't think you did post about the other one. I don't remember reading about it, and I was curious.

Possibly because I was deeply ambivalent, and wanted to take some time to think about whether it was her specifically, or the general concept of in-home daycare, that was bothering me.

Not that I got anywhere with that. Who has time for introspection these days??
