nothing to see
Feb. 17th, 2007 10:58 pmDon't really have anything hugely exciting to say. We had a day. Got the car out of the ice. Walked to CVS for diapers and my meds. Several random crying fits from Isaac suggesting that he's overtired. sigh.
Tomorrow my mom is having a brunch at her place. She invited a bunch of her friends who haven't met the babies yet, or haven't seen them since they were tiny (well okay, Bastian was never tiny ;) ). It should be fun. Isaac and I baked muffins for it. He was very excited about the whole thing. I'm not sure what he thinks the word "brunch" means, but he seems to grasp that it's sort of a party, and anyway he loves going to grandma's house for any old reason, or no reason. I ate too many pieces of muffin (the pieces that stuck to the pan because we ran out of liners) and now feel vaguely ill. But not like "that stomach virus making a reappearance" ill, just like "I ate too much sweet stuff" ill. *knock wood*
To occupy Ruthie while we were mixing the muffins, I put her in the highchair with a bowl of oatmeal. Needless to say this resulted in an enormous mess. She had great fun. :) She loves oatmeal! I think she even ate some of it! ;) Also needless to say, afterwards, a bath was had. I took some pictures of Ruthie with oatmeal in her hair.
OK, that's enough of the boringest post ever. ;)
