I just had an interesting 45-minute conversation with a reporter in Fort Worth, Texas, who's doing a story on fanfic. It was pretty cool, especially to mouth off and feel like a big-shot expert who knows what the hell she's talking about, if only for a few minutes. ;)

Anyway, she's definitely looking for more opinions/perspectives, so if anyone's interested in talking to her, drop me an email and I'll hook you up.

I'm not sure she has an angle yet. Right now she seems to be in the "I just discovered this cool phenomenon called fanfic, wouldn't it be neat to write a story about it" phase. Hence why she needs to talk to a bunch of people from different fandoms. I imagine once she gets through feeling completely overwhelmed, she'll be able to figure out an angle. :)

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and she doesn't know when yet; she said she'd let me know. I gather she has a LOT of research to do yet.
