still not really an update

I still wish I had time to write more about this, but for now I'll just state for the record that I have a job interview on Monday, assuming they don't change it (they've already changed the time twice). It's not the place I posted about under friend-lock last week, but another promising lead. More on that later, dependant on sick baby.

Sick baby is definitely improving and has even done some playing today. Still a fair way to go until 100% well, though.

The new furnace is in place, new vents on the radiators, new chimney liner; all that remains is for them to come back tomorrow and remove the old oil tank, and then the city has to send a couple of inspectors to verify everything. So, we have heat and all is well apparently. Just in time for the coldest weather of the winter thus far! Supposed to be 5 tonight (with wind chill to -15) and a high of 15 tomorrow. whee.

ok, that's all the typing she's going to permit me for now
