mamajoan: me in hammock (cheesecake disaster)

Today I had to go to City Hall and sign a few more papers related to the whole furnace replacement thing. One of the things I signed was -- I swear I am not making this up -- a form on which I agree that if any of the other forms I signed turns out to have a typo, I agree to come back in and sign a corrected version. I shit you not. This may possibly be the funniest thing one will ever see during a loan-application transaction.

Also today I got an email from someone named "Matt H" with subject line "What a big boy, just a few days old! lots of hair, takes after his mom" and the body of the email contained just the words "Thanx Hillary" and an attached photo of a little girl holding a baby. I am very confused. I don't think I know any Matt H, and the little girl doesn't look familiar. I can't decide whether this is some new kind of spam/phishing or whether Matt just got the wrong "mamajoan". WTF??

This may be the cause of the typo clause:

I recall signing a similar form when I got my mortgage, over eight years ago. I figured it was fairly standard. Although perhaps only with the government (my initial mortgage was through a government program for first-time home buyers).
