not fair!! & summary update
Nov. 9th, 2006 11:07 amUgh!! I finally kicked that cold, felt fine for a couple days, and now am starting to feel crappy again. Not fair! I have too much to do, I can't be wasting time on illness. :(
I am going to abandon everything I had planned to do this morning and go lie down with my baby. Wish me luck nipping this thing in the bud.
But first, brief summaries of the big news of the week in Life of Joan:
1. Isaac starts at his new preschool tomorrow. He'll be going there three days a week, full days, and I'm feeling very positive about it. Details later.
2. I got notified by the company that has been hosting my website englishchick.com since its inception (in, what, '98?) that they are getting out of the webhosting biz. So I've been working on transferring my stuff over to Dreamhost. On the plus side, they're cheaper and it represents a significant increase in disk space, bandwidth, and cool features. On the downside, though, the switchover process is time-consuming, and has brought sharply to my attention how horrendously overdue the site is for a redesign/update. Anyway, in the unlikely event that you go surfing englishchick.com in the next few days, if you notice anything missing, that's why. And as for the redesign, well, I'll get around to that one of these months.
OK, time to go crash. More later.
