performance anxiety
Sep. 14th, 2006 11:46 amI haven't mentioned, but I got a paying gig. It's small for now, more to keep me active than anything else. Basically, I'm blogging about news at a group blog called Blogger News Network. It's paying a small amount, currently as an experiment; if it takes off, the guy running it might start paying more. (And yes, I know the guy, so I have some faith that he's for real.)
The site has a conservative slant, so I'm a little nervous, but am trying to keep my posts on neutral ground, or at least not screamingly radical liberal. ;)
Anyway, so far I've only done two posts -- one on the death of Ann Richards and one on childhood obesity. We'll see how it goes.

Date: 2006-09-14 07:08 pm (UTC)so here's what i would have said:
Hm. Yesterday, I thought to myself "my toddler spends so much time cooped up in the stroller. He's been really good about stopping when i tell him to and we're going in a direction he wants to go in (so I don't have to compel him to go in the correct direction) i'll give him some exercise and let him out."
Two minutes later, as I was sprinting after my child and dragging him out of the street as a bus passed, I decided out of shape was better than flat.
