I've been reading yur journal since before Ruth was born and never comment because we're not mutual friends and I figured it was somehow inappropriate but I'm commenting today because even if I'm a stranger I'd like to say that I feel for you and hope you're feeling much better and out of the hospital soon.

Sorry, evil_macaroni. I feel highly qualified to transcribe this on account of having my gall bladder removed in June, and she really does mean "has changed" and "ducts."

Speaking of ducts, no gall stones in ducts vibes, because that would suck.

Yikes! I had my gall bladder removed in February 2004. The best part about the whole experience was being doped up on morphine.

If you end up having a laparoscopy, you may be home before you know it. I had my surgery on Sunday morning & was discharged from the hospital on Monday afternoon.
