Isaac and me having dinner:

Isaac: (looking upward) Look mama, the sky is coming down.
Me: ...uh?
Isaac: We're gonna eat it.
Me: We are? Is it gonna be yummy?
Isaac: No! (laughing)
(Isaac waves his spoon, spooning sky into my bowl)
Isaac: Here's some for you.
Me: ...thanks?
Isaac: Oh no, we ate it all up!
Me: Oh no! We ate up all the sky! What are we going to see when we look upward?
Isaac: (blank stare)
(long pause)
Isaac: We...uhh...Mama...we're not going to eat the fridge.

And then I laughed so hard that Ruthie had to stop nursing because the boob wouldn't hold still. :D

and i'd like to first appologize for the insane assylum on my journal.. i didnt post the second time about hte food specifically because of you.. (i dont think that you were being confrontational...) there were many people under the impression that i had given her a whole/raw carrot to eat.. so i just wanted to specify..

and secondly i would like to give you so much love and admiration.. my mother was a single mother (not by choice as you are) and so i know a lot of what it's like financially and emotionally..
