still no baby
May. 31st, 2006 08:22 amMan, if
sandykidd ever gets around to writing up her birth story, it's going to make War and Peace look like a pamphlet. ;)
(I almost wrote, "if she ever gets around to having this damn baby," but I feel fairly certain that will happen, one way or another.)
It has been an EPIC couple of days with zillions of trips back and forth between hospital and home, a new different update every few minutes it seems like. I'll let SK tell the whole story whenever she gets around to it.
But skipping ahead a bit: They started the pitocin (labor-inducing drug) at 4:00 this morning. At last report a few minutes ago, she was up to 90% effaced and 3cm dilated. I'd say there's still a reasonably good chance that I'll be an auntie within the month of May...maybe. ;)
I'm headed to the hospital in a few minutes to hang out. Send more easy-labor-vibes our way if you can!
*feels vaguely guilty for having gotten some actual sleep*
