drop in the bucket
Apr. 11th, 2006 09:45 amThe trouble with not posting in LJ for a couple of days, when you're the type who posts every trivial detail of your life in LJ ;) , is that when you do get a moment to post, you're stymied because there's just so damn much to get caught up on. And you don't have time to get into it all, so you don't post at all, which just makes the problem worse.
So, in the thirty seconds I now have: We survived our seven hours alone on Saturday, barely. Only two meltdowns (mine) occurred. We then survived the rest of the weekend, barely. (The weekend now includes Monday since Isaac no longer goes to daycare on Mondays.)
I am intensely irritated by babysitter-type people who don't return my calls.
I am intensely grateful to friends, online and otherwise, who have sent clothing and food even from hundreds of miles away.
Further detail on all of the above ... uh, will have to wait till, uh, someday. Sigh.
