mamajoanI got my paycheck by direct deposit today as scheduled. That's fine. But I still haven't gotten reimbursed for my flexible spending account even though I faxed in the form 2 weeks ago. I checked on the website and it doesn't show any "claims received" although it does show that I have a "balance" (i.e., money I can theoretically claim) of $625.
So I called, and after much head-scratching, the chick on the phone discovered that somehow the dates on my account have gotten messed up, so that apparently the computer thinks it is processing me for 2007, and thinks it has already paid out all my available funds for 2006, and thus my claim was rejected as invalid. She said she has never seen this before. Story of my life. *roll eyes* So, she said she would research it and call me back.
Well, at least I have today's paycheck which will cover most or all of the outstanding bills. But still, it's annoying to have gotten $600 less than I expected to get today. sigh.
I will not beat myself up for not having called about this sooner....
