siiiiiiiiigh
Jan. 25th, 2006 03:01 pmWell, just to make the day/week complete, I got The Call from daycare just now. You know, the one where your kid has some horrible form of leprosy (okay, or a high fever) and you have to go get him Right Now.
Except, I hadn't even had lunch yet and it was 2pm so I told them I could be there in half an hour. They can deal.
I'm just glad that tomorrow is my work from home day anyway, so I don't have to worry about taking another day off to stay home with Isaac. The fever had better pass quickly so he can go back to daycare on Friday.
Okay, I guess I sound a little callous. Well, I'm just not all that worried. He's been fighting this cold for a while now. I feel like the fever could actually be a good sign, meaning his immune system has kicked into high gear. Anything to stop these coughing-filled nights! But my point being, I don't think he's horribly sick or anything, 101 or no. And the daycare people did say that he seemed normal in general, which he almost always does when sick.
Anyway, I guess I'll find out. OK, time to go collect him. Whee.
