Last night, when I picked Isaac up at daycare, his face was painted. LOL, at first I thought he had just gotten a little over-exuberant with the markers; but no, all the kids got their faces painted yesterday. Fun! So when we got home I took some pictures before washing it off.

"Cheese, with bonus catbutt" is my caption for the first two pictures. Isaac is wearing a cheesy grin -- sort of literally, as he's actually saying "cheese" here.

My child is ALWAYS pulling up his shirt like this. I think it's just a nervous mannerism. It's too funny.

This is what happens when you ask Isaac how old he is. He tries to put up two fingers, then he gives up on that and just throws both hands in the air and goes "I'm two and a HALF!"

And finally, just some random hamming it up for the camera!

Hee hee. My child is such a ham.

The whole picking his shirt up thing is very common in boys of a certain age. Its usually not a nervous mannerism, it has to do with a fascination with the texture and feel of clothing-on-skin as versus exposed-to-the-elements-skin. Its the manifestation of a child, who has not yet been forced to focus and tune-out all the stimuli they receive experiencing his tactile sensations. Watch, I bet there are other manifestations of this as well...
