mamajoanOMG you guys, I am so excited. Last night I got the official notice in the mail from my mortgage company, showing how my payments are changing due to the whole tax situation.
It's really true! My monthly mortgage payments are decreasing by almost exactly $200. OMG!!!!!!!!
I studied the numbers at length and finally concluded that I understand where the new number comes from; what I don't quite get is where the OLD number came from. But I have decided to stop worrying about it and just accept it and be happy about it. So, YAY! :)
*bounces around randomly for a bit*
Last night was so way much better than the previous night and day had been, heh. I cooked actual food, Isaac and I had some giggles together, and then of course the mortgage thingie. Also, Isaac seems to be mostly over his cold (which I suppose means it's just about time for me to come down with it, but whatever). He went to sleep more easily last night, didn't cough a single time during the night, and was cheery this morning, with no runny nose or anything. I myself am still pretty tired on account of continuing to wake up several times over night, sigh, but what can ya do.
Something a bit strange happened this morning. I was at Midas waiting for my car to be done having its oil changed, and my cellphone rang, and it was some guy asking for my boss. Hmm. Somehow that was even weirder than a regular old wrong-number call. I guess there must be some employee phone list floating around somewhere that has my cellphone number listed next to my boss's name? I have to look into that. His name is John and mine is Joan, so if the list is sorted by first name, it's possible that we're listed next to each other and someone just read the wrong column. I guess. I dunno. Anyway, it was weird.
