Yesterday when I opened the front door there was another Amazon package on the porch. I got all excited and ripped it half open before noticing that ... it wasn't addressed to me. It was for the guy across the street whose house number is one off from mine. D'oh! So I wrote an apologetic note explaining why it was half opened, and stuck it in his mailbox. Ah well, so much for the excitement of an unexpected package.

BUT! Today there was ANOTHER Amazon package! A big one! And I checked very carefully and it WAS addressed to me!! We were on our way to grandma's house so I just brought it along and opened it there.

Well, huge MAJOR props and thanks are due to [livejournal.com profile] hawkeye7, who sent two books off my wishlist (one for Isaac/Cosmo and one for me) and one book that wasn't on my list but is a Thomas the Train book which Isaac will love. AND, the complete DVD set of the 2004 World Series! All eleven games of the ALCS and the World Series, plus bonus material, on twelve discs!!! *faints*

Dudes, you should have seen how fast my mom grabbed that out of my hands. LOL! I thought she might choke on her own drool for a minute there. ;) She has sooooo been coveting that DVD set. She insisted that I leave it at her house, and I decided to indulge her, at least for the moment. ;) Heh.

THANKS ROSS! That was truly the most awesome of awesomeness. You are the best. *warm fuzzies*

Merry Insert-Holiday-Of-Choice-Here or Happy Sunday to all! :)

SO pleased that you opened it at your mom's place.

Happy holiday to you, your mom and Isaac. :)

LOL, thanks! I know there are "real" Thomases around that you can ride if you can get there and get a ticket. We'll probably be looking into that next summer (assuming he's still obsessed with Thomas next summer ... which I think is a safe assumption). :)

Jason finally grew out of his Thomas obsession, at a far later age than you might have thought.
He had Thomas curtains, a Thomas lampshade, Thomas Duvet covers, Thomas alphabet frieze and an annual subscription to the Thomas magazine, along with videos and books. His favourite day out ever was when we visited the Nene Valley Railway

He turned 18 on the 14th, where does the time go?
