mamajoanI do feel better today -- finally managed to get an entire night's sleep, since I could breathe last night, although the throat was itchy and a lot of coughing happened. In retrospect, possibly the baseball game wasn't the best idea, but it was Jen's birthday and I'd already paid $44 for the damn ticket! And the Sox got their asses kicked, so there weren't even many opportunities to cheer, which is good for my throat, if nothing else. :(
I don't know whether I mentioned that our chorus concert this Sunday is already sold out. Yow! But no pressure or anything! I can only strive to get lots of sleep between now and then. I sense it might be less than ideal for me to bust out in an uncontrollable coughing fit in the middle of the music.
My head's still all stuffy too and everything sounds very far away. During lunch I had to keep reminding myself not to talk too loudly. I worry (probably excessively) that I must be shouting and people are looking at me funny. Paranoid much?
