waiting

I am waiting for:

* Isaac to finish his nightly Thomas the Tank Engine viewing so I can try the snowpants I bought him today (after several chidings from daycare staff for not having any) on him and see if they fit

* Isaac to finish watching Thomas so I can find out whether he's going to eat the new kind of yogurt I got him (more on this later)

* the maternity pants that an online friend sent me to warm up after having sat on the front step all afternoon, so I can try them on

* my tummy to settle itself and stop hurting, so I can decide what to have for dinner

* a little spurt of energy to materialize in me, so I can get off my ass and take a load of laundry downstairs (better not wait too long for this lest the laundry not be done by bedtime, oops)

* my upstairs neighbor/friend to return my call and tell me more about the Xmas-dinner-for-Jews that he's planning -- you know, little details like when, and where, and what, and who?

* the evening to be over so I can go to bed and hopefully resume that dream I was having the other day about being in bed with Eliza Dushku ;)

While I'm waiting, a request: Can someone make (or find) me an LJ icon that's like, a Star of David with a little Santa hat on it? I'm feeling Jewish and heretical and stuff. I can probably find Star of David icons and Santa hat icons myself, but combining them is probably beyond my pathetic graphics-manipulating skills.

Wow, that's better than most I've seen. According to sebastian_tombs, who made mine, they're *supposed* to look like they were made with MS Paint or something equally cheesy. Yours actually looks good! :)
