Got email from my mom in Uruguay. In painfully ironic news, it seems that she was in Buenos Aires the same day that Dubya was there and there was a huge protest rally against him. Figures. The one day of the year, possibly the one day of my mom's entire LIFE that she'll spend in Buenos Aires, and the reviled POTUS has to be there too. Heh.

Anyway, she said they saw Air Force One at the airport, so that was cool.

I am amused that my bus was within egging distance of Air Force One when I was riding it to a protest in Tempe.

The SOB's father almost cost me a church job when I was in college. I was driving down the highway when it suddenly became a parking lot, due to the arrival of the previous worst-imaginable-president's motorcade. I arrived five minutes before the service.

I got even in the voting booth as soon as I could.

And then I sang for his successor. So there.
