a mystery solved
Sep. 13th, 2005 05:09 pmFor a couple of weeks now Isaac has been singing a version of "Twinkle Twinkle" that I didn't recognize. I thought it was, "when the blazing thunder's gone," but I googled and googled to no avail.
Then I started thinking, wait, "blazing thunder" doesn't really make sense. So I listened more closely next time he sang it, and that time I thought maybe it was "blazing sun is gone." So I tried googling just "twinkle little star when blazing gone" and found it! Apparently "Twinkle Twinkle" has more verses. Who knew? The things my child is (and I am) learning at daycare! So the second verse goes, "When the blazing sun is gone, when he nothing shines upon, then you show your little light, twinkle twinkle all the night."
Now I know. Whew! Well, *I* feel better, anyway. ;)
