well, that's out of the way.
Aug. 29th, 2005 04:41 pmI finally managed to arrange to have my car towed to the body shop that fixed it last time. This required a whole bunch of phone calls because the tow yard, of course, will want to be paid for the two tows plus "storage." It turns out that the body shop will pay the tow people and then submit the bill to my insurance company for reimbursement. Which seems a little crazy to me, but apparently that's how it works.
So tomorrow morning the tow people will tow the car over, and then at some point I have to go sign some papers saying that yes, I actually do want you to fix my car. And then they can actually start fixing the damn thing.
I have more phone calls I need to make (for other, non-car-related things) but I just don't have the energy any more today. There are only a certain number of such calls I can stand to make in a single day.
I need chocolate.
