I feel like I should make a post at this point, but I have nothing to say. So here's a post to say that I have nothing to say.

Would you like to hear some whining about how I don't want to cook in this heat and there's nothing to eat at home and I can't afford takeout so I don't know what we're going to have for dinner tonight? Oh, you wouldn't? Okay then. Never mind.

Salad, man, salad. And sandwiches, if you're feeling ambitious.

And when you get bored with regular green salad, a couple of the grocery stores around me have been having sales on various deli salads - 1 lb containers for $1 (potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, even baked beans).

We eat a lot of that stuff this time of year, because it's nice and cool and doesn't require cooking. :)

That's actually a really good idea! I could totally live on cole slaw. Yum.

Then you totally need to stock some broccoli slaw and Marzetti's cole slaw dressing. Combine the julienned broccoli with the jar of dressing, and voila, cole slaw. Very easy and not terribly expensive (and relatively healthy, especially if you get the "light" dressing).

But salad would require there to be veggies in my fridge, alas.

That's the post I would write.

I feel so ... sick. Exhausted. I can barely move. I don't know what's wrong with me. :( I can say for sure, though, that I'm not pregnant! :)

Sometimes you just gotta go for the peanut butter and jelly. Mmmm... ;)

Yeah, but Isaac isn't allowed to have peanut butter yet. But I've definitely been having a lot of it myself lately.

Gazpatcho. Doesn't need any cooking. Well, it's a little late now, but maybe next time.
