stupid spam tricks
Jul. 11th, 2005 12:37 pmI got one of those spams that pretend to be from PayPal telling you to update your account info, but then (if you're stupid) you actually end up giving all your personal/financial data to spammers.
The only problem was, the email came from "CostumerSupport@paypal.com".
Now, some of my best friends are costumers, and I think that's very cool, but I personally have never really been into that particular aspect of fandom.
Sheesh. I almost feel that anyone who falls for this one *deserves* to have their identity (and all their money) stolen. I mean, come on, people.
