mamajoan: me in hammock (wtf)

Can anyone help me with this annoying Firefox problem? When I open it and go to my friends-page it doesn't apply my "default view" filter, i.e., it acts like I'm not logged in. If I click the link to my userinfo page, and then from there click the link to my friends-page, then it does the right thing. But that's two clicks more than I should have to do! Any ideas?

thanks!

Meaning you're supposed to be "always logged in" whether you have entered your password in that browser session or not? If that's what you mean, and that's what it's not doing, my first guess is that you have your preferences set to delete whatever cookies and junk your computer accumulates during a session when you close your browser, and the "I'm logged in" bit is one of the things that gets flushed.

Just a wild guess.

That was it, thanks! And now I feel dumb for not having thought of checking that. D'oh.

I switched to firefox a few weks back and had the same problem at first, but I hadn't realized that it wouldn't share cookies with IE. I just had to go to the main LJ page, log in and check the "I wanna be logged in forever" box. Hopefully that's all that's wrong.
