I have successfully figured out how to tweak my new S2 layout in the two most important ways I wanted. I desperately missed my little link at the top of my friends-page (or my own journal page) that took me right to the update page. And I hated having to see my own layout when I clicked to other people's comment pages. I've fixed both of those, so now I'm a happy camper again. Well, except for the part where I still hate my color scheme, but whatever.
