dentist, etc.
Jun. 20th, 2005 03:39 pmI saw the dentist again this afternoon as a follow-up to my checkup two weeks ago. Things looked pretty good. They put some stuff in my mouth that turned it bright pink to show the spots where I don't brush well enough, and they showed me some brushing techniques to improve that. Then they had me demonstrate how I floss, and said I did okay but showed me how I could do better. Then they cleaned my teeth up a bit more and took some molds of them. All in all, a much less painful visit than last time.
The dentist said that I still have bacteria in my mouth, but it seems like my body is fighting them, and she seemed confident that if I brush and floss diligently it won't be a problem. So I have to go back again in six months. w00t. (I mean, w00t that I don't need more work now. Not w00t that I have to go back again. But w00t that it's six months and not another two weeks.)
And then, since I'm already tagging this entry "medical" anyway, I might as well add that I also heard back from my new doctor about the bloodwork they did at my last visit, and it was all normal. So I'm pretty much chugging along. :)
