Jun. 19th, 2005 09:20 pmI still kind of hate my new layout, but am too stubborn to switch back to S1. Anyone want to help me figure out how to tweak S2??
Had a pretty good evening last night and day today with Isaac. Nothing earth-shattering to report. We just did random stuff: went to playgrounds, grocery shopped, spent some time standing on the bridge near our house waiting for trains to go by.
Isaac is kind of obsessed with trains nowadays and one time a couple of weeks ago, when I was on the computer and he was fussy, I went to Google Images and put in "train" and found a bunch of pictures of trains. So now whenever I'm on the computer he comes over and says "look at choo-choo trains?" So I made a new folder in my favorites that's called "isaac" and put a bunch of bookmarked train pictures in there. So he'll sit on my lap and I pull them up one by one and he tells me what color they are ("that one-a red. that one-a blue. that one-a lellow.") and what they're doing ("that one-a down-a hill! that one-a up-a-la bridge!"). He gets so excited about each one, it cracks me up. :D I am Geek Mama, hear me roar!
I think Isaac is moving closer to being ready to potty-train. Lately he often says "change a diaper" and sometimes when I do so, he has pooped, but other times he hasn't. So I don't know whether he's just saying it randomly, or saying it because even a wet diaper makes him uncomfortable now. I'm not pushing the potty thing, but we do have a potty in the bathroom and he sits on it whenever I pee. And he does sometimes tell me when he's pooping, so the next step is to start whisking him onto the potty when he does that. And that was more than 90% of you wanted to know about my child's bodily functions. ;)
I have more to say (type), but I gotta go grab a quick shower first. I may post more afterward, while I dry off. :)

I think it's technically a theme in my layers.
Yeah, I know. I managed it, but I'm doing a crappy job of explaining. Sorry.
