good day, tired

Had a lovely but tiring morning with Isaac and with techn0goddess and her wife, some of my favorite people in the world. We went all over Boston Common and Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, spending most of the time outside despite the fact that it was chilly and windy. (Yes, I am still bitter about how crappy the weather is here at the end of May -- especially since for like five weeks in a row now we've had nice weather during the week and crappy weather on the weekends!)

We stopped for lunch in Quincy Market and I got soup because Isaac's lips were turning blue -- no, literally. He ate a little soup and warmed up a bit, but you know how it is, stopping to sit and eat makes you realize how tired you are. So we walked back to the subway station and parted company; they went off to the Museum of Science, and Isaac and I went back to gramma's house -- a long subway ride involving one change of train, followed by a bus ride. Isaac was in little boy heaven. *g*

So we went to gramma's house and Isaac told her all about everything we had done, and he ate a little and went down for his nap, out like a light. I took a nap too and we both felt soooooo much better. Then I left him with gramma and went to meet the girls again for dinner. We had a nice Thai dinner and then gramma and Isaac met us for ice cream.

All in all, a good day. But now, sooooooooo tired. And still trying to warm up!
