Apr. 18th, 2005 10:53 amThere was a fairly small gap in the fence, and every morning, Piotr pulled it open and squeezed through in order to get to work thirty seconds earlier. If he went all the way around the block to go in the front door, he wouldn't have time to rearrange the photographs on his boss's desk before he started work. The fence scratched his belly and ass sometimes, but it was a small price to pay.
One morning, as he was wrestling the broken links apart, his eyes drifted down the length of the fence, and he noticed that there was a gate just five or six feet away. And boy, did he feel stupid.
The End.
