Apr. 6th, 2005 02:44 pmWhee! Lovely weather yesterday and today -- in the low 60s! I switched from my heavy winter coat to my lighter fall/spring jacket. Have I mentioned how much I love spring? :) The only downside is that now I have to carry a purse, to hold all the stuff that I normally carry in my coat pockets. ah well.
Isaac was totally cheerful yesterday when I picked him up from daycare. When we got home, it was still warmish and still light out, so we went for a little walk around the block, and he just laughed and squealed and chortled the whole time. Around the corner there were some teens/tweens skateboarding and biking over a makeshift ramp, and Isaac just found that totally fascinating. I had to drag him away.
Then he had a really hard time going to sleep. I realized that I hadn't been making it easy for him to adjust to Daylight Saving, what with him going to bed late two nights in a row due to circumstance, and then me letting him sleep in two mornings in a row. So last night when I started his bedtime routine at what the clock said was the usual time but his body said was an hour early, he of course didn't care for it. Sigh. Anyway, I got him up earlyish this morning and hopefully he'll adjust now. Stupid Daylight Saving Time. :P
In other news, just now I went out to get some lunch and bumped into
tamidon, except that I didn't realize it was her and she didn't quite know who I was either. But she was like, "do I know you?" and I was like, "uh, you kind of look familiar." And then I went away, on account of I was zoning out from hunger. I was kind of in a daze. Then I went to CVS to grab a few things, and when I came out, I was looking down at the ground at the tires of my car, and noticed that they were parked on top of a blue square handicapped logo, so I felt really guilty wondering "how did I not notice that I was parked in a handicapped space??" And then I looked into the car and, hey, that's not my stuff. It wasn't my car. Same model, same color, different car. *facepalm* Did I mention that I was zoned out?
Note to self: get more sleep.
groan.
