lame geekiness
Apr. 7th, 2002 11:16 pmThrough some labyrinthine logic that works perfectly in my mom's head, I gave my brother $100, and in return I got my mom's old vacuum cleaner (she bought herself a new one) and will be getting her old Macintosh, complete with printer and scanner and modem, as soon as she finishes transferring her data to the new one.
But she let me take the printer home tonight, after we realized that it's Windows-compatible too, which means I can start printing stuff (e.g. resumes, writing samples) right away. Wahoo. So I took it home and set it up, and then realized I don't even get geek points for that because it was so damn easy. Snif.
I can't remember the last time I had a functional printer. I feel so lame. :) It even has color. I've never had a color printer before. See above re: lame. But in an amused sort of way.
