Isaac cutenesses
Mar. 22nd, 2005 03:05 pmThe other day we had a friend over and Isaac was standing in the middle of the room turning in circles. I asked "are you going to dance for us?" and he started to ... moonwalk!! LOL!!! I guess he must have learned that at daycare, 'cause he sure didn't pick it up at home!
We have sort of a conversational pattern. It used to be that he would ask where something was and I would repeat his question and then answer it. Now he knows my answers so well that he answers for me. *g* So it used to go like this:
Isaac: Wheh da ball?
Me: Where's the ball? I don't know, let's look for it.
And now it goes like this:
Isaac: Wheh da ball?
Me: Where's the ball?
Isaac: No-no. ("don't know.")
Or it used to be:
Isaac: Wheh da car?
Me: Where's the car? Is it in the toy?
("the toy" refers to this thing we got from
ww1614 that has ramps that are meant for balls to go down, but he loves putting his cars down them, despite the fact that the cars don't work so well on the ramps and always get stuck inside the toy.)
So this morning it went:
Isaac: Wheh da cars?
Me: Where *are* all your cars?
Isaac: Toy?
Me: Are the cars in the toy?
Isaac: Yeah?
Me: Well, that would be just shocking, cars in your toy.
Isaac: Shocking! Shocking!
hee hee....
