hippo birdies to me
Mar. 16th, 2005 03:10 pmJust got back from seeing "Robots." LOVED it. Sure, the plot contains approximately zero surprises, but that didn't bother me because it's well-written and funny and full of pop-culture references (most of them from my childhood, not present-day, so I could actually recognize them *g*) and just cool. Awesome. Go see this movie.
I was thinking of seeing two movies today, but the timing didn't work out, so instead I just saw the one and then came home. Now I'm going to have a nice long shower and then see what I feel like doing with however much time I have left at that point. I was thinking of going to treat myself to a strawberry-nutella crepe at the crepe place, but right now I feel vaguely ill from all the popcorn and twizzlers, so maybe not. urrggghh.
In amusing news, it turns out that the chick at daycare who has occasionally babysat for Isaac after hours can't do so tonight, because ... it's her birthday! Heh. So she's going out with friends to celebrate being 18, and I'm celebrating being ... a helluva lot older than her. ;) Practically old enough to be her mother, in fact. Grooooan. Anyway, one of my coworkers agreed to pick Isaac up from daycare so I don't have to brave rush-hour traffic to get out there again. Yay.

And stop groaning, you're nowhere near as old as I am. ;-)
