hmm, stuff
Mar. 14th, 2005 10:40 pmI may have mentioned recently that one of the online survey places I'm signed up with sent me a trial container of something that I was supposed to use for two weeks and then be contacted again to tell them whether I liked it. I don't know if I'm supposed to tell what it is, but it's a common bathroom/cosmetic item. Anyway, today I got the email and went and filled out a survey to tell them what I thought about it.
But at the end of the survey, they didn't say what to do with the rest of the product. There's plenty left. I mean, they didn't say to toss it, and they didn't say to send it back, and they didn't say "we'll contact you again in another two weeks," so I can only assume that I'm free to use it or trash it as I see fit. I'll probably use it, because it doesn't suck, and, well, it's free. ;)

Date: 2005-03-15 03:49 am (UTC)I once tested some styrofoam plates that were NOT performing as advertised. I was none-too-thrilled about keeping the pieces of crud. I also tested some conditioner hairdye. That was swell.

Date: 2005-03-15 03:56 am (UTC)I do Harris, but never have been sent anything; Greenfield, which I avoid doing because their surveys are so poorly designed; and NPD, which I used to do a lot more than I do now. I got to test a couple different versions of Diet Coke with Lime for them, which was pretty cool.
